Nothing was left after they raided the transportation "trust" fund...so they passed the Gas Tax.

Nothing was left after they raided the bay "trust" fund...so they passed the Rain Tax.

Nothing was left after they underfunded their pension promises...so they dumped their pension commitments on the counties.

The increased Gas Tax, increased Sales Tax, the increased Flush Tax, increased Income Tax, increased Tobacco Tax, increased Alcohol Tax - and now the Rain Tax...when will it ever end?

Our tax funds are being raided and abused and the only solution we are given is more taxes. We need more accountability and less taxes - its common sense!

Whereas:   Our tax trust funds are continually raided. Instead of protecting those funds, we are being taxed again for the same services.; and
Whereas:   Since the last election, taxes have been raised over 30 times. These destructive policy decisions will only continue to chase people and businesses from our state; and
Whereas:   We need more accountability, not more taxes;
Therefore: As your constituent, I DEMAND that you oppose any and all efforts to increase taxes and support legislation that will prohibit stealing from the state trust funds
